I found instruction on how to “wet mount” my film in my epson 4990 flatbed scanner and will be trying it soon. I have an interest in shooting more color film in large format with the intent of making very large prints, but I have known that I need better scans. wet mounting is supposed to eliminate the grain and help the details come out in the shadows and highlights. since I can’t afford drum scanning, or even a used drum scanner, this should give me results close enough for government work.
